Board Member – Self-Employed
Bridget Davidson is a Registered Dietitian who has been practicing in the community for 32 years. She has worked and gained considerable experience in various southwestern Ontario hospitals and in the private sector as a consulting dietitian.
Currently she is working as the Executive Director of the Canadian Malnutrition Task Force, an inter-disciplinary group of health professionals looking at how hospitals can systematically prevent, detect, and treat malnutrition in hospitalized patients. Bridget currently sits on the Board of Directors for Nutrition for Learning, she is the Past Chair of the Board for Community Justice Initiatives and she volunteers for the Central Ontario
Development Riding Program at Pride Stables. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Human Ecology (Nutrition) from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Health Sciences from McMaster University. She has completed the Knowledge Translation Professional Certificate from the University of Toronto. Bridget is a member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario, Dietitians of Canada and the Canadian Nutrition Society.
